Reporting to Director, Production Operations (NY), the Manager, Production Operations will play a critical role in overseeing and executing projects within the Beauty team. This position aims to enhance operational effectiveness and support the continuous alignment of projects to meet the dynamic demands of the business. The Manager will serve as the main point of contact for project updates and will facilitate collaboration across departments to improve accountability and oversight.
Project Monitoring & Execution
- Align with stakeholders, including Sales, Product Development, and Sourcing & Production.
- Define project timelines, margin, resource allocation, and KPIs to proactively address delays and ensure timely project completion.
- Obtain final approval for projects from the Beauty Head and conduct regular project reviews.
- Track and assess project progress, monitor milestones, and identify deviations while monitoring the corrective actions.
- Ensure all stakeholders follow the defined and approved timeline and margin for execution.
- Arrange and conduct regular review of new projects profile with all relevant stakeholders for action plans.
- Maintain project profiles in Excel on SharePoint, linking to Airtable and WIP reports
- Achieve common goals of margin, cost, quality and delivery.
Collaboration & Communication
- Facilitate meetings, knowledge sharing, and conflict resolution among cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, Sourcing, and Production.
- Act as the primary communicator for project milestones, KPIs, and other relevant updates to stakeholders.
Performance Review & Improvement
- Conduct regular project reviews to evaluate projects performance (KPI, margin, cost, delivery, etc..) and identify areas for process improvement.
- Monitor project margins and confirm sales commitments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Accountability & SLA Tracking
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and targets, enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across the team.
- Document meeting notes and track KPIs, including Final Artwork Approval, Licensor Approval, Mass Production Approval, and Shipping Status.
