Overall Responsibilities
1. Sourcing, product development and costing
- Assist in source new fabric/trims/factories for coming season’s offer
- Arrange/allocate sample fabric n garment samples to different mills/factories to ensure samples will be on-time for customer meetings
- Create sample request for garment samples, tracking status n update NY counter part
- Provide detail costing package and template for vendors to cost; clarify with NY and answering any costing query from vendors; create costing comparison to be reviewed together with supervisor; negotiate price with vendors
2. Order follow-up
- Assist in order/price negotiation with different vendors to maximize margin
- Monitoring critical path/production schedule and work with production team to ensure on time delivery
- Review and verify order details
- Handle lab-dips, strike-offs, fit samples and customer different sample request
- UPC, price ticket, carton marking review/approval
- Constant update on WIP to ensure no delivery slide
- Order management : prepare final costing/ create ticket for PO creation
- Monitor vendor/factory processes, including inspection bookings, vessel space reservation
3. Support in managing relation with vendors
- Work together with supervisor to resolve conflicts and issues between buyers and vendors to maintain smooth operations.
- Work together with cross-functional teams and vendors on order status/delivery
- Timely update/report to supervise on any problems
4. Business analysis
- Assist supervisor in summarize each season’s fabric used, product placed, average price and respective margin for NY working on next season’s range

Additional Requirements
• Professional degree/diploma in apparel manufacturing or Textile Merchandising, or a related field
• At least 5 years of proven experience in merchandising
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques
• Creative mindset with an eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics
• Up-to-date on the latest merchandising trends and best practices
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and collaboration abilities
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in: English, Mandarin.
