Intern, Merchandising

We are seeking a motivated Intern, Merchandising to join our merchandising team in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will support the below mentioned functions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the merchandising sector.

• Assist merchandisers in handling development and bulk orders
• Support in sample follow-up (Fit sample, PP sample, shipment sample, etc.)
• Track order status, T&A (Time & Action) calendar, and production updates
• Coordinate with factory, sampling team, and suppliers
• Help monitor fabric and trims sourcing and approvals
• Maintain proper documentation (PO, BOM, style file, approvals, etc.)
• Follow up on lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals
• Support in identifying and reporting production issues (e.g., fabric defects, delays)
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to production activities.
• Utilize MS Excel to analyze and report data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and update trackers in Excel

Additional Requirements

• Recently completed a degree majoring in Textile and Garment Technology, Fashion design or related disciplines
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
