Specific Responsibilities Would Include:

Overall Responsibilities

 

Oversee end-to-end approval processes for artwork placement, color execution, and production strike-offs, ensuring alignment with brand and quality standards. Demonstrate strong color acuity with the ability to accurately evaluate, differentiate, and articulate nuanced color variations. Possess exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while partnering effectively with New York–based teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Review and approve color, layout, strike-offs, lab dips, and trim submissions to ensure brand and production standards are met
• Manage daily communication and follow-up with factory partners regarding approvals and production updates
• Proof and evaluate pre-production samples for accuracy and quality
• Maintain flexibility to support team priorities and meet shifting production deadlines
• Accurately assess color and provide clear, actionable feedback to factory partners
• Ensure color consistency across product sets and collections
• Enter detailed and concise comments into Flex PLM
• Identify artwork discrepancies and proactively address potential issues
• Apply knowledge of fabrication capabilities and print limitations during the approval process
• Create color cards and coordinate color standard requests
• Support overall team operations and daily workflow needs
Customers & Relationships
• Manage approvals in alignment with production timelines and key deadlines
• Ensure compliance with licensing protocols for strike-off submissions
• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and global partners
• Maintain awareness of account-specific requirements and standards
• Support divisional deadlines through strong prioritization and time management

Skills & Qualifications
• Strong color acuity and attention to detail
• Knowledge of character licensing requirements and approval processes
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with licensing and Flex PLM preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
